Getting harder to find vehicles without DI. I have avoided them due to the intake valve coking inherent in the design. But almost everyone is going that route to gain that last fraction of mpg. GM seems to have solved their earlier issues. BMW and VW apparently have still not figured it out. I guess you can always have that somewhat expensive intake system cleaning done every few thousand miles. Note: you have to immediately change your oil afterwards. Going to be looking at a new vehicle before long, so seeking input from others.
